Alberton saddened by the loss of Rademeyers

Residents of Alberton expressed their shock and sadness following the death of five members of a well-known family in Alberton.

According to sources, it is understood that at the time of the accident, their son Coert is the only family member who was not in the car when the incident happened.

Through this accident, he has lost a mother, father, two sisters and a brother in law.

Former tame TIMES editor, Monica Supra shared the news early on Saturday on her Facebook page, she posted, “Tragic news, such a wonderful well-known family from my home town.

“Ek onthou hoe Orpa altyd vir my kom hello sê het met ‘n stywe hug toe sy nog in die kleuterskool was en ons in Graad 1 by Generaal Alberts, toe Elsi nog ‘n klein dogtertjie was.

“Oom Coert wat jou altyd sou groet asof jy pas van die grens af teruggekeer het, so bly was hy om jou te sien, Tannie Elaine wie altyd ‘n glimlag op die gesig gehad het.

“Coert, ons dink aan jou en jou familie, en ons dink met deernis en stunning memories aan jou geliefdes.”

Messages of sadness were also expressed on Elsi’s page, Elle Franco posted, “Dear Elsi, I will miss our conversations, your honest advice, funny jokes and big pretty smile.

“You are such a kind, genuine and beautiful soul. Rest in peace with our heavenly father. Prayers of strength and comfort to your family and friends left behind.”

At the time of publishing the article, the tame TIMES had not received the details on the accident which claimed the lives of the family members.
