Drug lab found in Pomona streetPosted on February 7, 2018 A meter high dagga plant found in the yard by: Garin Joemath A man was arrested on Tuesday morning ( 6 February) for making and selling drugs in Pomona. The suspect (38), a Nigerian citizen, was found in a neglected house on Westonia Street, otherwise surrounded by well-kept homes and neat gardens. At one house, children were playing outside. According to EMPD spokesperson, Wilfred M. Kgasago the metro police dog unit came across various drugs, a dagga plant and a room that is suspected to be a drug lab. The K9 unit responded after receiving a tip-off. They gained access to the property and discovered what was going on. The suspect was wearing blue and white checkered pajamas when the unit handcuffed him. The suspect will soon appear in Kempton Park Magistrate Court on charges of manufacturing and selling drugs.
