Kenilworth Secondary School in Kenilworth has for the third time in a consecutive row retained the position of top performing public school for the district.
With another 100% matric pass rate, 78% bachelors, 20% diploma and 2% certificate pass, it’s no wonder this school, under the leadership of Principal Morgan Radebe and his dedicated team of educators, is one of the golden jewel schools of the South.

A word of appreciation and thanks also goes out to all the learners and parents that have worked towards this amazing achievement. The school’s top performer Dany Kukusama plans to study engineering after walking away with five distinctions, followed by Zinhle Magubane and Michael Mncube with three distinctions each respectively.
Principal Radebe was awarded the Certificate of Excellence by Gauteng MEC of Education Panyaza Lesufi for this great achievement. A word of thanks has also been extended to School Governing Body (SGB) Chairperson Charlene Dearling and Lucille Petrus who serves on the SGB Finance.

Also echoing the school’s achievement was Kim Holmes from Standard Bank; Anita J. Moerman van Blankenburg from Partners for Possibility; Kamy Dhanpat from the Education district; as well as Ward 59 and 124 PR Councillor Tyrell Meyers and Ward 57 Councillor Faeeza Chame.
Kenilworth Secondary is determined to maintain this achievement, and will continue to work hard to assist their learners in becoming South Africa’s future leaders and ground-breakers.
