No to women, children and elderly abuse!
Women, children and elderly are vulnerable to all forms of abuse as such from 25 November – 10 December 2016 is declared the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against Women and Children campaign. This campaign is used as a strategy by individuals and organisations around the country to call for the prevention and elimination of violence directed to women and children.
We call upon all stakeholders including private and public sectors; NGO’s and NPO’s to participate on this campaign by spreading the word to end women and children abuse in our communities.
Gauteng MEC for Community Safety, Sizakele Nkosi- Malobane will also be outlining the plans for the 16 Days of Activism campaign today. She will also announce LGBTI Ntirhisano programme, the launch of the Cyber Investigation Rom and the Little Heroes Summit.
Lastly we urge all abused women and children to speak out and expose the abusers. No women or children deserve to be abused no matter what circumstances. Let’s all unite in fighting women and children abuse.
