The tame TIMES Photo Competition has now come to an end and the winning photograph has been chosen.
After much deliberation, the judges decided that Ernie Buric is the lucky winner of the tame TIMES Photo Competition for his enthralling bee and flower photograph. Buric walked away with R1000 as well as a bumper hamper filled with goodies sponsored by Rosetree Catering Solutions.
Buric and his wife Rose visited the tame TIMES office to collect their prize without knowing that they had won. The two pensioners from Germiston didn’t believe it at first. “I’m speechless! Thank you so much!”, said Ernie.
Ernie and Rose are avid photographers and love taking photos of nature and wildlife. Rose is also a talented artist.
In second place is Hans Stelzner with his water drop and reflection photograph. Coming in third place is Aletta Wright for her portrait of a woman dressed in traditional clothing.
The two runner-ups of the competition received power bank prizes courtesy of Ekurhuleni Estates.
“The tame TIMES team had a blast! The competition was fun, intriguing and slightly difficult as there were so many amazing entries to select every week,” said tame TIMES Johannesburg South Editor Candace Sofianos King.
“There was clearly a lot of creativity and thought put into the photos that were sent in,” noted tame TIMES Alberton/Germiston Editor Malcolm Maifala.
tame TIMES would like to sincerely thank the community for their overwhelming response and involvement in the competition.
tame TIMES looks forward to hosting the next photographic competition.
