PLANT-BASED CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TIPS

This deliciously smooth dessert is made with the super-food that is avocado. Avo has all of those healthy fats and nutrients but it is easy to smooth out of a dessert. The addition of your favourite cocoa adds to the goodness and turns it into a real treat. You can even sprinkle it with some nuts or fruit as you desire and the recipe is for 2 servings, each only 198 calories.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1 teaspoon Xylitol
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder, sugar-free

METHOD

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Place in the fridge until well chilled, for at least two hours or overnight.
